Hotel Rawalkot Jaisalmer

This is an ideal place for one to relax in the most peaceful and serene ambiance. The property is more than 3 decades old but is so well maintained - it feels like it is built this year. Away from the city crowd and commotion and almost on the main Jaipur Jodhpur Jaisalmer national highway the Hotel Rawalkot is that quiet, cool, heritage property that you may be looking for to just let your hair down and relax. The staff here is particularly polite and courteous and they give you that regal welcome and care throughout the stay - without making it look artificial or made-up. As senior citizens and our children we were there for the farewell-2024 and welcome -2025 period, we were looking forward to a simple zero-DJ cozy cultural session. We were so pleasingly surprised by the absolutely talented local, well-trained and well-versed traditional Rajasthani singers and a lady dancer who was so very graceful in her moves, giving us a glimpse of the authentic cultural milieu. The food, veg and non-veg are both authentic and the services of the entire staff is just awesome.

I had many inhibitions while I was booking this hotel as it was little far from city center. But I liked the photos online and had my own car so just went ahead and booked this. This hotel turned out to be the best in all the hotel we stayed in our Rajasthan tour specially in term of courteous staff. I had booking from Sept 6th - Sept 7th, I had reached Jaisalmer early morning of Sept 7th by train and this guys themselves offered us to checkout late without any extra fee. This helped us lot and we could rest till evening after visiting places in the morning before going to camp. The room was spacious and clean. The place had a earthy feeling. Swimming pool was very well maintained. The staff were very helpful.

The property was excellent in ambience, space and the way it was built like a fortress. Excellent location and close to the railway station. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The check-in process was good, and the front desk helped with inclusions that were not a part of the booked package.

Excellent stay - exceeded our expectations! Location was in close driving distance to Jaisalmer Fort. Room and bathroom were very clean and breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff was also extremely helpful and accommodating: We actually missed the breakfast time, but they called our rooms to ask us if we wanted food and then kept the breakfast hall open later just for us. They were also able to accommodate our requests to stay an extra night and to get two adjacent rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

Very neat and clean. Looked like a new property even though it is an old one. Staff is very well trained and courteous. Tasty food.
